Is 1 yagi and 50W enough to work EME on 144, 432 and 1296?

YES it is!

We have worked many such stations on all 3 bands (see our band section for the complete logs)!

Here 3 nice exemples of QRP QSOs: for the photos goto "Photogallery", "QRP stations worked by HB9Q"

With the introduction of WSJT (many thanks Joe, K1JT!!!) a new world was open-up for many VHF and UHF weak signal stations.

It is now possible to work EME on a regular base using only 1 yagi (even a small one) and 100 W (or even less!!!).

With such equipment it is not only possible to work the very big guns, NO, it definitely is possible to work MANY stations:

·         On 144 MHz 1 yagi and 100 W are enough to work 4 yagi stations!

·         On 432 MHz 1 yagi and 100 W are enough to work 4 yagi stations!

·         On 1296 MHz 1 yagi and 100 W are enough to work 4m dish stations!

It would be great if YOU would join the EME-family, adding yet an other exciting station and/or country!
